In the next few paragraphs, we’ll show you why and how this blog will be helpful to you. We’ll also tell you how you can ensure you’ll get every single post delivered to you.

But first, a bit of history about us.

The test of time

We like to think of Brookfield Residential as more than a new home builder. In fact, we prefer to think of ourselves as a community builder that makes dreams real for families. And that’s exactly what we have been doing in Southern Ontario since 1956.

To succeed, we aim to build homes of the utmost quality while focusing on providing you with excellent customer service every step of the way. This is why we’re adding this blog to a variety of channels that aim to make it easy for you to communicate with us, whatever stage of the home-buying process you happen to be in. These channels include our official Facebook page, our website, and our customer connection portal, ilovemybrookfieldhome.ca.

Fifty-six years and over 25,000 fine homes later, the results speak for themselves, not just thanks to our list of awards, but also thanks to our great number of homeowner referrals.

These, as far as we’re concerned, are the highest honour possible, which is why we’ve set up a Referral Program on our website and our Facebook page. Allowing you to refer a friend or family member, it rewards you with $500 when they move into their new Brookfield Home. (Your friend will receive a bonus to use at our Inspiration Studio.) If you’re an existing homeowner, you can also refer yourself to a new Brookfield home and get $1,000. Our Referral Program serves as a token of our appreciation for extending the Brookfield family and helping us build yet another extraordinary community.

Your voice matters

We have heard back from you over the years. From phone calls to emails, from Facebook posts to feedback provided in person to our sales staff, you have provided us with a wealth of information as to what your needs are. What you expect from us. What you want in your home — and what you need to know before you choose one.

Armed with this knowledge, we plan on featuring the following types of posts:

  • Latest Community News: while we already update our registrants and fans via email and social media, a blog will give us the space needed to provide you with more information and additional details.
  • Insiders' Tips: what are the most important questions you should ask when you visit one of our Presentation Centres — which you aren’t already asking? What are the most inspiring and exciting décor tips? In these blog posts, we’ll get qualified colleagues to answer these questions — and many more — for you.
  • Featured Homeowner: nothing touches us like watching a community grow — the neighbours who socialize at our events, the friendships that form, how people look after each other. To help you get an initial idea of who your neighbours are, we’ll profile some of these homeowners on our blog.
