PDI Inspection from Oshawa
We had a wonderful experience completing our PDI and it was all thanks to Ken who was absolutely marvelous .   He took the time to explain every detail of how things work and why we have to maintain them on a regular basis.   He was extremely patient with us regarding very minor problems.   He never once made us feel that what we were pointing out was minor.   He answered all our questions and the ones that he couldn't, he told us he would get an answer or where to get an answer.   He definitely is a wonderful Ambassador for Brookfield at a time when as a new home owner you are completely filled with excitement at finally getting to see the inside of your new home but on the other hand you are apprehensive and worried that you may miss something that could end up a big problem down the road.   The latter feeling was definitely alleviated by Ken with his reassurance and constant reminder that we have our 30 day, 1 year etc.   I just can't express how much my family and I enjoyed meeting and working with Ken.    Also, another very nice surprise was that Erminio  took the time out of his very busy day  to come into the house and introduce himself.   It was really nice to finally put a face to the gentleman who for many months it seems that I was constantly bothering with Customer Wants to Know forms regarding windows and leaks.

My wife and I recently moved into our new Brookfield home in Brooklin. During the inspection, there were some obvious things - very minor - that needed fixing, and Garrett was always there to fix anything that needed fixing. In fact, when a minor leak developed on our ceiling from the upstairs master bathtub, not only did he take more than 2 hours out of his day, he even worked well past his schedule home time to ensure that the job was corrected properly. We have been treated with the utmost respect from Garrett.

Anyway, just wanted to pass on those kind words for a job well done.

Little things do indeed go a long way. Because of the positive things we've shared with our friends and family over the past few months (about Brooklin and Brookfield Homes specifically), three other family members have since decided to purchase a Brookfield home in the Whitby/Brooklin area! Infact, in the same subdivision as us!

We have been very satisfied with the service that we have received so far. In particular, Jimmy, the construction supervisor, and of course, Alex, our Salesman. They are completely customer service oriented and have made the stress of buying a new home so much easier to deal with. Alex and Jimmy have been able to answer any of our numerous questions and if they don't know the answer immediately, they'll find out. Ken , the PDI inspector, was amazing during the inspection. He had an incredible amount to review with us but he was patient and thorough and had answers to all our questions.

Jimmy arranged immediately to have everything done from our deficiency list. He is a very dedicated employee and Brookfield is fortunate to have him on the team. The house is wonderful and we are very happy with the service.

As well, the "I love my Brookfield home" website is great. I went on it all the time to see the status, review agreement details etc.

We have purchased one of your homes in the Oshawa locations at The Hills of Harrowsmith site.  Our search for a home lasted for over three and a half years until we finally bought in Oshawa. My reason for this letter is to compliment you on your staff at the Hills of Harrowsmith location. I am not the type to write in with either a compliment or complaint, but the service we received from Toni Janus, Brenda Wray and Lenna Reid has been phenomenal.

As I mentioned earlier we were searching to buy a home for a long time, going through countless sales offices when we finally showed up at the Hills of Harrowsmith site. I can't put into words how comfortable we felt with Toni Janus and how much easier she made our home buying decision. Toni has turned our home buying experience from something quite stressful to extremely enjoyable and stress free.

Then the nicest surprise, after we purchased the home, the service has gotten even better. In my general experience I find usually the opposite is the norm. Once the deal is signed the salespersons only concern is the next customer.

Toni has gone out of her way to make us feel comfortable. Everything from having us feel very secure with the builders we have chosen, to introducing us to as may neighbours as she can and already making us feel like part of the community.

We have told friends of the homes and service at the Hills of Harrowsmith site and are fairly certain at least one of them will be our neighbour soon.
